Ration Card e-KYC in Telangana: Telangana Sarkar has taken another decision when the final deadline of Ration Card KYC is approaching. The deadline has been extended till the end of February.
Ration Card e-KYC in Telangana: Telangana government has issued an alert to ration card holders. EKYC took a crucial decision on the deadline. In view of the deadline ending on 31st January... it has been decided to extend this time till the end of February. Telangana Civil Supplies Department has issued orders to this extent. This process is yet to be completed in most states. In this order, the Center has extended the time till the end of February. At present, 75.76 percent of e-KYC of ration cards has been completed in Telangana as well.
In the background of extending the deadline... Civil Supplies Commissioner DS Chauhan has directed the Additional Collectors of all districts and concerned officials to complete 100 percent by the end of February.
Dealers in ration shops have been updating EKYC for the last two months. Aadhaar verification and fingerprints are being collected for KYC update. Officials suggest that if Aadhaar is not linked to the ration card, it should be done immediately. The central government is providing free ration in all the states of the country through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana scheme. But Erivetaku has decided to link the bogus ration cards with the Aadhaar number with the ration card. There are no reasons for this. Most of the old cards have the same names of the dead. Due to this, the ration goods are getting sidetracked. The EKYC process was brought to the fore to check these. If there are many beneficiaries in the family, all of them have to do EKYC.
On the other hand, the Telangana government is working for the approval of new ration cards. A procedural decision will be taken soon. But after completion of EKYC…. There will be more clarity in the matter of beneficiaries. The government will also consider this data. Once this process is complete... the process of sanctioning new ration cards will be expedited.
How to update KYC?
Ration Card E KYC Process: To update the ration card KYC, the owner of the family along with all the family members of the ration card should go to the ration shop and put their fingerprints in this pass machine.
If you go to the ration card shop separately, it will not be processed.
After taking the fingerprints, the beneficiary's Aadhaar card number and ration card number will be displayed on the e-pass.
In the e-pass mission, the green light will come and EKYC updated.
If the red light is on, it means that the beneficiary's ration card and Aadhaar card details do not match. This will remove the ration card.
All those whose names are in the ration card should get EKYC updated at once.
